7 seasons, roughly the same numbers of episodes as TLA, but it achieved much less and ended like a wet tissue

There are a lot of great moments in the show, and claudia/viren are great antagonist, but there are problems in the plot.

I'll rant about the ending first. Basically they teased a cliffhanger? They had all the means to kill araavos forever. Callum sacrificed himself to seal araavos or use the goddamn novablade( tho it really came out of nowhere and we arent sure it can kill him permanently). Imagine if TLA ending spoilers:
aang sealed ozai's bending but it only last for 7 years! He will come back soon with vengeace! Ooooooo

also7 years for a 1000+ years creature is like what? A few hours probably. The overall plot has problems too like i really dislike they made dark magic always evil. They had the recipe for the downside of dark magic is greed and overruse and its core it's the same as eating am animal, but no they made it pure evil taking away nuance in humans vs elf conflict.

It's not terrible show i'd give it like 6.5-7 overall but it could have been much better

Oh yea they actually teased the king that was killed in season 1 was actually switched with magic into a bird, so the assassin killed a bird in the king's body and ezran's father soul is still in a bird god knows where doing bird stuff like shitting in a park and fucking hens or some shit. What the fuck?

Well at least the scene where karim was killed like an insect was so satisfying lol

From what I understand, the moral of the show is also that nonviolence is always the answer. Even if someone is actively beating the fuck out of you, the moral option is to lay there with open arms and let them do it because otherwise you're just perpetuating a cycle of violence.

It also makes sense that Harrow abandoned everything to live as a bird because Harrow is a fucking moron.

but the ending had araavos killed quite violently and there's literally no option for pacifist solution lol, idk, it's just all over the place.

I tried to watch it, but the 12 fps animation wasn't to my liking, and the story/writing/characters weren't remotely strong enough for me to sit through 8 fps of choppy animation, despite the style being not half bad, if a bit too reminiscent of mtv spiderman.

Also that heavy accent was certainly... a choice.

there are some good moments, but honestly regardless of stylistic choice, the choreography and scene direction is really a step down from avatar TLA. idk why maybe netflix cut their budget hard, season 7 barely had any good fights. season 3,4,5,6 had some.

I stopped after season 5 (?) where it was nothing but set up with no payoff. In 7 seasons youre telling me they couldnt make a good story when avatar did it in 3?

Achthually in 7 seasons they have roughly the same numbers of episodes as TLA, but it's true they achieved so much less in character arc and plot progression within the same numbers of episodes.

The first three seasons were solid AF.

After they came back for 4-7 they seemed like they lost their mojo
