Newsom is too corpo-friendly and oily for me to want him in office unless he wins the primary, in which case there's not much of a choice. I feel like the Dems would become the U.K.'s Labour Party with him at the top of the ticket. --- If you treat people as equals, they start to think they ARE your equals. http://www.gamefaqs.com/boards/1005-warhammer-40k ... Its more so the image of a politician is at an all time low so even someone who doesn't appear to be that will probably gain support as "going against the grain". The American people don't trust politicians, at all. And they don't consider people like trump to be one but they DO consider ppl like Hillary and Biden one. LightSnake posted... Genuine question: which candidates would've stood a better chance in a primary than the sitting VP? None, because only Harris had access to the war chest, because of how it's legally structured. (Not that I understand how it works, but I heard it explained more than once that only her and Biden were able to use any of that money because only their names were on it. Any other democratic candidate would have had to raise that money from scratch to campaign against Trump. In 90 days. apocalyptic_4 posted... Harris being in office for the past 4 years with not much to show for it didnt help. Biden's administration has gotten a lot of shit done, and Harris was part of it. But a VP doing nothing for four years... is par for the course. A VP won't have much to show for in the office versus there's nothing (Constitutionally) for a VP to do other than outlive a President. --- What has books ever teached us? -- Captain Afrohead Subject-verb agreement. -- t3h 0n3 ...
