Including workplace habits and whatnot, how many e-mails do you send during the weekdays?

I was intrigued and checked it out from work and I averaged about 20 e-mails a day at work. I'm in management so you know, a lot of written communication. =/

Between 0 and 0.99.

A minimum of 10, a really busy day could probably be like, 50.

I still prefer it over people who choose to call me though, any time spent on my work phone is hell.

Zero. Its been years since Ive sent any personal emails.

I never send any personal emails to anyone anymore and barely ever did. Work wise Im never required to either. In fact up until COVID I went 20 years at work never even logging into or using my work email. Then during COVID they started doing monthly training via email to justify their job and have stuck with it so once I month I have to log in to my email that has the link for University training.

I work at a major state college where 99% of campus relies heavily on email communication but in my job we do not and I dont give a shit what the rest of campus is doing or news about it. So every month I delete everything but the link to training.

Most communication is done on something like Teams, or through documentation on other apps like Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, etc, unless I need something that's saved.

Previous jobs were 25-50 a day. Current job we use Slack so most people would rather communicate there.

Checked my work sent folder, I sent 26 emails this week, and it was only a three day work week.

Zero. I usually communicate on Teams, so I might respond to 1 or 2 emails a week.

A week, shit I've sent zero emails the entire year. All of my communications are done either in person, via IM, or by discord.

Some just compound out of back and forth. We don't use slack and we usually want to keep everything in writing.

On average, about 5 emails and about 10 Teams messages. And usually 3 or 4 Teams meetings.

I'd rather send emails than have mindless conference calls for 6 hours a day that could have been solved with a handful of emails.

Average like 4-5 a day so I want to say a little more than 20 a week although it varies. As we float around the holidays I send a lot less email.

I'm still onboarding at my new job. Currently it's about 2 a day, but will probably stabilize at 5 a day. Possibly a little more at quarter end.

Like 10 or so I guess for work.
