has jedi survivor been fixed well enough yet? i know it was pretty bad on release and it's about $18 now

I liked Far Cry 5 but I didn't get to far. That's common for me though. It wasn't as bad with the checkbox gameplay as other Ubi games though.

i've only ever played 3, 4, and Blood Dragon and i wasn't ever planning on playing any others, but the first post here made 5 seem like it'd be kinda fun. but then i respect Crim's taste in games a lot, so now i don't know lol.

5 takes the better parts of 4 then just streamlines it a bit and adds some more gameplay options.

Like two of the Buddies for Hire you can get fly aircraft so I had fun just "stealthily" clearing out outposts while they just shot and started everything up. But then you can also just go solo, or take someone on the ground who has heavy weapons, or go with stealthy companions. Theres just a ton of flexibility.

It's also just relaxing fishing in the lakes and rivers. And there is some awesome imagery, especially in the woman's territory.

If you liked 4 you'll probably enjoy 5

I ended up buying the Castlevania Advanced/Anniversary Collection, Sniper Elite 4, Psychonauts 2, Quantum 2 Break, and the SEGA Genesis Classica Collection. Itd be nice if Konami removed the region lock for Professional Baseball Spirits 2024-2025. Finally a decent modern baseball game thats available on PC and you cant even play it :(

Picked up VTM Bloodlines for $10 and got it working on my steam deck. Now just gotta find experiment with controls settings. Would love to play it docked with an Xbox controller.

That is an absurdly good deal. Wish I could play through the series again for the first time / could play through it with someone else. Only did co-op with the original one and my roommate and it was a good time. Working my way through Tiny Tina's Wonderlands right now.

I don't even have an interest in Borderlands, but I kinda want to get that just because I doubt $660 worth of stuff will ever be that cheap again.

Pandoras box goes in steep sales pretty often and it's really padded by shitload of cosmetic DLC and season passes/DLC listed separately.

It's still a decent deal IMO, but it also seems better than it actually is and if you have no interest in co-op loot n shoot you probably shouldn't get it.

Ye, the whole "This is so much value!!!" is tainted when it's just 99% DLC or micro-transaction nonsense. Another example of that, in another series worth getting stuff from, would be the Nihon Falcom bundle: https://store.steampowered.com/bundle/21595/Nihon_Falcom_Bundle/

In a generic sense it's a "good" value, but it's pretty comedic to believe that a bunch of <$1 generic healing/cooking item bundles is a good use of money. The Borderlands one mostly just has a 94% bundle discount while the Nihon Falcom one is just 50%, so it's much more of a "must grab" in that vein.

What made me laugh is that I remember the Deluxe Edition of Cold Steel 3 on the Playstation 4 network was on sale and cheaper than the standard version. It's like well duh I guess now I'll get your deluxe digital edition because I'd be an idiot to pay more money for less.

Idk it's still 6 full games, so about 5 bucks per game and some of the DLC are long enough to be their own full titles. And imo only 2 was particularly annoying as a solo player, the others have been fine

Yeah I picked up Psychonaughts for cheap. The winter sale is right around the corner though so maybe it will have a repeat.

Psychonauts was part of the deep discounts which we had during summer and those sales weren't repeated. It might take long before psychonauts 2 is that cheap again.
