Same job elsewhere? Probably take a while. A job in general though? Depending on how early i was let go i might be able to have one before the day ended. With only one real exception pretty much every branch of my family could swing a job for one of us. Knew one guy at the company (the CIO), turns out he was the hiring manager. He applied, had an interview the next day, he got offered the job in a couple days with a 60% raise. ... You might not find a job you want but depending on the state it's probably not hard finding a job that pays out better than unemployment, even part time. I'm a terrible interviewer, so I'm not sure how fast it would be. I work in IT, though, and have experience in securing and administering databases and the OS a bit, so in theory it shouldn't be too hard.
