Im mean discipline and whatever means necessary to get that in a soldier. I mean someone who isn't gonna falter just because things got rough. I mean someone who will do what they gotta do even if they are afraid to die if they do.
Now to say that last part I only expect if its a war we truly need to be fighting. If it's some BS then I don't expect that.

The correct terminology is, "Erect, and square to front!".

Points to note, there should be a pause between "erect" and "and", plus the words "square to front" should be rushed out as fast as your best drill voice will allow.

Now the US military is suddenly "soft" and needs to be hardened? That's the tack they're taking to justify Trump's desire for a purge? The US military is the one thing in this country that has always been pumped full of money. It's ridiculously strong. Almost obscenely strong. But I guess the next thing on the MAGA brainwashing agenda is to start believing that the military is weak.
