I have no idea if this was a smart idea or not, but their phone number was visible when I submitted my application (if I remember right, it was on the email), so I decided to nudge them a little.

I did get this response, but it was after the time for the initial interview had already passed that I finally saw the message (slept through my alarm =/). I also don't know why I'm being called Jessica but I'll take it lol.

Anyway, I know it's Waffle House, and I've already had an interview there before, but I'm desperate at this point. The interview is coming up in a few hours, and I never received a reply after those messages.

So Im guessing the Dollar General thing didnt work out? Dollar Tree, Dollar whatever it was. Never heard an update beyond the background check taking awhile. Soooooooo?

The interview with Waffle House went surprisingly well. She's actually going to contact one of my work references, and said to text her if I don't hear from her by 9:30 AM tomorrow morning.
