I don't personally think it's a good idea, since it's a completely unsubstantiated attack of an immature nature, and usually Democrats benefit from having the moral high ground over the Republicans by not doing that type of thing. Harris dismantled Trump without pure facts rather than making anything up.

No and I hope he doesn't. It's misinformation and would hurt any arguments he has against Vance/Trump using lies if he himself is actively pushing one at the same time.

I don't know that much about Vance, but it would be interesting to see if he can be baited into losing his cool. As boxers like to say, let's take him into deep waters and see how well he can swim.

That said, I agree with the view that Walz has bigger, stinkier, and easier fish to fry in the debate.

No. Harris basically plastered Trump's face into the dirt. The bully was caught off guard and flailed in response. That's perfectly fine; nothing she said was wrong.

Making things up is another matter entirely. When you lie you give others license to lie, and lose the moral advantage.

The couch thing is weak, lame and untrue. Just pick from the list of horrendous things he actually believes.

Nobody cares about the couch. Bring up Springfield, and how he admitted to making things up.

Then remind the audience that if he's willing to make that stuff up about Haitians, he can do it about ANYONE and EVERYONE. And same with his master.

I don't think he will. Not only are there other, more fruitful angles to attack him on, it's also just not a good look for him to use a reddit meme on the debate stage.

If he DOES bring it up, it'll likely be a quick joke comment for the sole purpose of trolling him, not an actual talking point.

The couch thing is hilarious, because even though it's not true, Vance is exactly weird enough that he would be a couchfucker.

Should Walz joke about it at the debate? Probably not, but then again watching jokes like Dice clutch their pearls and cry over it would be quite funny.

I see Harris/Walz as a "good cop/bad cop" duo (pun not intended). Walz seems likely to be the guy who only hits above the belt, whereas Harris isn't afraid to get dirty

That's just my impression though, and I absolutely could be wrong

I think that could possibly work, but aside from that, no something that isn't known to be factual like that shouldn't be brought up.
