TMOG 10/01/24 1:39:27 PM #1:	Vote for your favorite! - Results (67 votes) Ampharos 49.25% (33 votes) 33 Blastoise 50.75% (34 votes) 34 Here we go! After four months of preliminaries, we've narrowed it down to our final 128 -- now to narrow it down to the single best Pokemon. You all know how this works, I've run enough of these damn tournaments. Vote for your favorite of the two Pokemon presented; the winner will move on in the bracket, the loser gets to stay in a PC Box for all eternity. Rounds last 24 hours, give or take; sometimes I'm not always at my computer right on time, or have to post the next one a little early so I can move on to other parts of my day. It might also happen that I'm not able to post the next round on time at all, but I'll at least end the poll if I'm able to in that case. If there's a tie that refuses to break, it will be decided with a quick Lightning Round. I'll go over what that entails if and when it comes up. Round twenty! TheHoldSteady 10/01/24 1:46:40 PM #4:	Hardest round one yet. I will say Ampharos is essential to Gold & Silver and Colosseum because of the lack of other good Pokemon available in those games. Him being pulled from Crystal to push needing two games is criminal. Blastoise is great too, but you'll live without it. But for those two games, Ampharos is impossible to part ways with --- If she said we partied, then I'm pretty sure we partied. I really don't remember. Funnily enough, Blastoise was actually part of a completely separate evolutionary line in development, and Wartortle's original evolved form looked closer to it. However, both that Pokemon and Blastoise's original pre-evo were among the 40 Pokemon cut from the game, and Blastoise and Squirtle/Wartortle were folded together instead. While blastoise is, imo, one of the most overrated. When I extended it was at 34-34 and when I checked to see if the numbers had changed it was at 35-35.
