Dunno how Norway is in this regard, but if the stories my Swedish friend has told me in regards to how leniently Sweden handles immigrant crime are even half-true, the woman in the OP is going to lose whatever's left of her mind in less than a week.

You can't disable hot links as far as I know, the main option is just disabling them altogether.

That's under Settings > Advanced
