I find that is often the case with a lot of accounts I see around that age. Its always weird for me because I see a 20 year old account and they made it when they were 13 to 15 meanwhile I made my account 20 years ago and I was just getting ready to turn 28. So there still ends up being a large age gap even though they have decent aged accounts.

What was the reason you made your account?

For me it was to talk with people on the NCAA football boards. It was very active and Im an absolute college football junkie. I lurked for a couple years then decided I wanted to join in on the discussions.

I never actually came here for a FAQ. I did eventually make my way to hanging out on main systems gaming boards. Usually PlayStation. I talked about gaming a lot. But talking college football is what made me sign up. And yeah it seemed like it was full of kids then. I still had fun though.

I made mine 19 years ago, when I was 28....I should have about 5800-5900 karma, but numerous 3 karma loss violations, plus a 6 month suspension where I could still visit the site but karma wasn't counted, and didn't have a computer prior to 2011, had to rely on public libraries that were often closed on Sundays so couldn't come then.

I made my first account in 2003 when I was 12. Made this one 3 years later when my first one bit the dust. Also, I just realized you are Dragon Angel X2. There's a name I haven't seen in a long time. Your name is one of the first I recognized when I became a regular on CE in 2005.

I didn't post much back then, I went to look up cheats and such for games. Plus the public libraries in the county had a 1-hour time limit for patrons to use, to ensure others could get a chance to use them (the county had close to 900,000-1,000,000 residents, so libraries tended to be crowded and unless you got there right as the library opened, you tended to have a long wait for an open computer)

Just realized I created my account 20 years ago yesterday. Was likely to ask questions about Morrowind.

I stopped caring about karma a long time ago. I started caring more about losing access to this account because CJay or Allen (I forgot) removed spaced user names.

Good times. I made my first account to talk to people on the Digimon game and social boards. I remember them being extremely active back in the day which kept me coming back.

There was a time in 2006 when I didn't have access to a computer for a few months due to being homeless. I was 17/18. I did use the library a lot because I was still in school but I wouldn't frequent the boards.
