Too many years of hearing people talk about (and movies/games emulate) the accuracy of assault rifles made me completely ignorant of their flaws. If youre repeatedly told and led to believe theyre the perfect weapon, of course youre going to believe it until you have some knowledge to contradict that. What are you talking about? The whole purpose of a high rate of fire is that you don't have to be as accurate. The media talks about "assault rifles" with regards to mass shootings where there is no specific target to be aimed for, just spray into a crowd. Movies/games pick up on "assault rifles" because the faster rate of fire is more action. No one railing against "assault rifles" is doing it because of their accuracy. --- "Something's wrong!
