Tough question actually. It must be something like a marvel or super hero movie I enjoyed.

I got it, Mad Max.

Came to say this.

Also, not a movie but I watched The Wire for the first time last year and though I loved it I don't need to watch it again

Requiem for a Dream. Saddest movie I've seen recently. No desire to watch that again, despite how great the performances were.

Grave of the Fireflies

I've often described it as "the best movie that I really hope to never watch again."

And oy, I haven't seen it since I became a dad. I have to assume it'd hit a lot harder now especially, as in the back of my head I already had a headcanon, "oh, wouldn't be even more extra sad if their Navy dad was alive after all and unable to find out anything about his wife and kids?"

Any of the A Quiet Place movies

Or most scary movies, really. I feel like once I know what's going to happen in those, it's not worth watching again.

Schindler's List

I saw this in the theater, and I have never experienced anything like it at a movie. Everyone in the room was very emotional, and there was audible weeping throughout. The air itself felt oppressive during the movie-you could just feel the sadness radiating from everyone.

Such a highly effective film and so important. But I absolutely dont want to see it again.

Come and See (1985).

A haunting film that explores the hopelessness of a young teenager on the Eastern Front during WWII. The phrase "Soviet anti-war film," should be enough to clue people in that it is not an easy watch, but it is well worth doing so at least once.

Godzilla Minus One. Good movie, but I definitely liked it less than a lot of other people and I found the ending way too hokey.

While I'm on the subject, Shin Godzilla. The Godzilla moments are worth watching on YouTube again but the dialogue was unbearable. I know that was part of the point, but it doesn't make it fun to watch.

Anything that revolves around a big twist or mystery.

Something like Usual Suspects is so much less when you have seen it once. The emotionally draining ones I don't mind rewatching which seems to be the direction most people here are taking.

But the "who done it?" type movies or movies based on a big twist are the ones to me I can only watch once. After that they just lose so much.
