Already bought and finished Dawn of Sorrow... After playing some Visions of Mana, I'm going to start Portrait of Ruin...

I picked it up. Portrait of Ruin was my favorite of the three games, and it's easier to play them now than on the still-in-development DS emulator I was using years ago.

I'm interested in it but I am so behind on games already. I did enjoy Dawn of Sorrow. I believe I played Portrait of Ruin but I'm not certain. I don't think I played Order of Ecclesia.

I definitely will do - I love the regularity now with which Konami and Capcom are throwing out collections of such great games - but honestly the next few months are insanely stacked for me, and even though I love the DSlevanias I've played them all multiple times so I probably won't get it until the new year.

I dont have a PS5, so not at this point.

Got it and started playing Order of Ecclesia. I want to play DoS but... I've yet to play AoS in the previous collection lol. I will eventually, there's just so many games in all these bundles.

I already did. I'm getting close to the end of Dawn of Sorrow (unless I decide to go for every soul). But I'm also playing Visions of Mana so time is being split.

Just checked out the Steam discussions, apparently controller support doesn't work pass the main menu.

It works for me on the Steam Deck as well as using PS5 Controller while docked to my TV

I had to reset the game though for the controller to work after docking it, but it does work for me

I'm good, all I'm missing is Portrait and I frankly don't think either of the other two are good enough to warrant buying twice.

Probably at some point. I haven't even gotten the Advance Collection yet.

But Order of Ecclesia is the only one I haven't played yet either...

yes. it is one of the best.

I already bought and played those games on the DS so I'm good, but I love the idea of other people getting to play them so there's more people to discuss the games with. The gba and DS Castlevania games are basically my introduction to the series and they're the only ones I like save for SoTn and lords of shadow of course.

I never did finish Albus mode in order of ecclessia... I don't think I even made that far. It was already a difficult game but this mode was extra frustrating so I lost interest. I wonder if this collection would make the mode easier... hmm

Edit that's weird. Why is the collection not available on ps4. Considering so many other more hardware intensive games are still ported to last gen, it's surprising that a simple collection isn't.

Found it really odd that they not only put the second Soma Cruz game with this collection, but they didn't add the first one, too.

I have this one on my wishlist in case it goes on sale.

Ive played the shit out of all the ds games. I think im good. If anything ill buy it if it ever goes on sale dirt cheap.

On PS5 you can use the touchpad and it actually works pretty well

I always buy Castlevania games but then never finish them, I don't know why. I've played many in my life, and not once have I ever beaten one.

Yet I keep buying them.

Might buy this.

And never beat any of the four games.
