I don't really understand the topic. The Jedi don't have a monopoly on the light side of the force but they are the largest and oldest organization. There are other smaller groups or isolated individuals but they don't tend to last or spread very far. The Acolyte gets kind of weird because it suggests that it's illegal for other groups to recruit children. But night sisters are a known dark side group so that might be part of it. The sith are a specific dark side cult that was founded by former Jedi, they're literally anti-Jedi.
