If something has the wrong mainstats but good substats, even if they seem like bad subs for the set/piece, keep it. A lot of HSR players felt some serious pain once Aventurine's kit was revealed.

Grace has been kinda frustrating to build. There is not a universally good drive set for her. You would think the 4pc Electro set would be great, but it only works in Shock-only teams, since in a Disorder team you end up removing Shock. Likewise, the 4pc Anomaly bonus is useless in Shock teams (you have so much electro already) but very good in Disorder teams where you want to quickly alternate statuses.

So if you're like me and running Piper, or plan to get Jane Doe, you want the second set, but that one is much less efficient to farm than Electro which is with the amazing stunner set. Freedom Blues is with the Ether one, I think? which isn't great unless you also have Zhu Yuan.

That's pretty micromanagey, I'll probably just roll with a 2/2/2 or rainbow tbh

I'm farming the Phys/Atk one for Nekomata and Piper, the ATK set isn't great but it's at least a near universal 2pc option

oh and as for Soukaku, from what I've seen every support just wants Swing Jazz for energy and buffs

Does anyone have the issue on PC where even after closing the game, there's a background process running? As in, Epic Game Store still registers as me playing ZZZ and I have to go into task manager.

Does the hoyoverse launcher have this same issue? Didn't even realize that thing was out.

Slowly working on outfitting my teams with decent drives. Once Qingyu comes out I should be able to really focus and run Ellen/Anby/Soukaku as team 1 and Zhu/Qingyi/Nicole as team 2.

Well all I got was Ether stuff today when I wanted the Energy Regen set for Soukaku. Going swell

I have a good enough Ether set and am getting all my Crit set pieces through the Gacha instead of the grind to avoid defense set, so I'm spending all my event bonus on the Electric/Anomoly domain.

I've seen people complain about leveling drives. Does it make any sense to double up on that instead of a couple free drives?

Today I spent my last possible 10 pull of this banner and got a generic A W-engine.

Literally replacing the new 4* Physical Defender dude in the very next patch lol. Wierd release choices here. I thought Lynx being released on the Fu Xuan banner was as bad as it could get.

Seth is electric and specifically anomaly support kit-wise. I'd expect even beyond element that Caesar will do something quite different, so I don't think there's any immediate power creeping happening there.

An S rank defender is going to be extremely cool to see - I feel like even with Seth's kit now out there people aren't too sure what this class really is even if there's not really a question that they absolutely can find places in team comps.

Sons of Calydon is the least interesting faction for me, but Caesar looks cool and an S rank defender is definitely interesting.

Really curious about her kit given the other two faction members. Piper is fun as hell to play and Lucy is really unique

Managed to finally pull enough on the banner and won another 50/50 to get Zhu Yuan. Also got Ben to mindscape 6 and Nicole to mindscape 5 in the process with all the pulls, so that's helpful.

I've somehow managed to brute force my way through stage 6 of Shiryu. Obviously dogshit B, but I survived.

I heard shes S rank, but goddam Hoyo please spare us we can only have so many peak designs in a row. Can we get like 4 S class dudes next so we can save up haha. I wonder if Im the only one with no interest in Miyabi. Seems like she was the most hyped pre-release character, but her faction in general isnt doing much for me other than Soukaku.

I've only met them once, but I like Glasses. Not a fan of Miyabi. She's like a combination of Ayaka (katana and beta hype) and Eula (struggles to express herself).

Eula is my favorite from Genshin. Her design is soooo good and I love her voice too. Gonna need it to rain summon currency in this game for all these hype characters coming up :(

If Burnice is A-rank, SoC would have 2 A-rank fire characters and 2 A-rank anomaly characters. Would Hoyo do that?

A-Rank characters got those before launch, right? Seth hasn't gotten one yet, but neither has Jane Doe.

I'd also be conflicted because Caesar vs. Burnice is an extremely easy choice for me in terms of design but Burnice immediately offers a ton gameplay-wise while I have zero idea how Caesar is going to fit into anything or if I'll even have the pieces to make use of her. Weird conflict of design vs. gameplay exacerbated since this is an action game where gameplay matters so much.

I dont mean the shorts or videos. I mean for their reveals Caesar had a 20~s voiced little thing and so does Burnice so theyre both S class

Almost all the comments in the reddit leak thread about her being an S rank were complaining about lack of male S-ranks, lol Feels like such a weird miss by mihoyo. Yes I have no doubt the waifus sell better, but a big part of their games' devoted core fandoms are husbando enjoyers. Not to mention, why would MHY intentionally market to gay furries with Ben and Lyacon and then not give those people a character to actually spend money on? Are they stupid?

(also agreed with you on Caesar vs Burnice but thankfully 1.2 beta should start this week and give us a better idea of kits)
