Rydia's pretty great, but needless to say, I backed Cloud in that one. A good winner, though.

Thanks for sharing, charon (and everybody), another gap in SMFFFC lore filled in. When ppl say Shoe are we referring to Shonen_Bat or the other Shonen i think i remember seeing in XIV, Kazumi or Kakashi or something? Or a diff "Shoe" user?

(Also if i was at home this is where i'd drop the head-tapping meme, "can't be in a bullying clique if you don't have any friends", lol)

The real reason Rydia's win was a mistake is that Shoe left B8 not long thereafter and never came back.

If it was Shonen_Bat i can confirm he was still around and participating in this contest when i wad here. Personally I will always remember him from our teamup on Paranoia Agent in SMFAS, which i guess i started participating in before SMFFFC so i probably was destined to end up here anyways even if Cissnei wasnt in the unsafe list...

Martin, not sure if this would help, but I have the GameFAQs app downloaded on my phone and always access the board via that rather than through the standard web browser on my phone. Haven't had any issues lately doing it that way, but not sure if it actually makes any difference.

This is good to know, thanks! Had no idea there was an app. Though good news i got a temp workaround, thr site works fine if i log in on swcret mode. Bad news is secret mode doesnt give me spell check/auto corrections but hey, better than taking 10 seconds to type one word. Probability of anothrr Kockej incident skyrocketing tho, lol

Is it only on iPhone? I looked on the Google Play Store last night and nothing came up.

Umm, it's probably delisted by now actually. It looks very homemade and basically just gets you to the website quickly. It was made in 2013 and is still on version 1 0. I know a user recommended it many years ago.

there were two different unofficial apps I used in the past but they're probably both way out of date at this point

they were definitely better than just using a browser when they were actively maintained though

I do the opposite, saying only two "eff"s because that rolls off the tongue so much easier than 3 or more. Honestly, "favorite" shouldn't be in the title anyway
