Nah, he has plenty of jokes. The "one joke" is the fact that certain people pushing the "one joke" narrative only ever seem to spread him around when he makes that joke.

He streams every single day and he is very actively talking throughout, so there are literally thousands of hours during which he's not telling "one joke," but somehow it seems like the people who don't watch him only ever see that one joke.

I only know him from WoW youtube videos when I'm trying to find a guide how to do something, his are normally the top options and are informative and intuitive.

Honestly not the worst I have seen IRL (not including hoarder videos). It isn't that much different then what I grew up with, my mom was the same way right up until she died. Can't imagine how many dead mice are probably hiding under all of that filth.

Difference is, once I moved out I swore never to let my house get anywhere near that bad. Like I might leave a dirty dish out for a day or two, or some clothes on the floor. But nothing even approaching that.

Yeah, his guides from back in the day are very useful still. I never even realized he used to do video guides before he started streaming. I only first heard of him as a streamer.

Then, maybe a year and a half ago or so, after Dragonflight launched and I was playing actively again, I wanted to do the Darkmoon Faire race achievements for all the toys they give. Asmon's guides were the absolute best for completing them.

I don't think he would vote for Trump.

False. He doesn't believe in anything. He's very malleable and changes his opinion based on who he's talking to. Just like when he had some extreme things to say about then Palestine protests but significantly moderated his positions when talking to Hasan.

like, why not stay as a WOW channel or something. it'd be like a "Let's Play: Pokemon" channel suddenly deciding to critique the electric vehicle market.

idk, I think it's dumb and not necessarily just for asmongold. lots of youtubers eventually veer into politics for some reason, and it almost always seems like they have bad takes.

I don't watch that much of it, but it can be seen as a kind of news. People may only hear about stuff related to gaming by watching him, and it's also similar to a podcast I think? Never watched one.

It's not entirely wrong though. He's a Texan who made his claim to fame really from being a literal troll. He made WoW videos and guides and what not, but was pretty famous for ninja looting and being a pretty toxic dude.
