So it's late today, working late, had only 1 hour of sleep the last 2 days, so I'm tired. Not thinking I sent a text meant for my girlfriend to my mother.

I was answering a text my mother sent me asking a question about something she needed help with. I thought I copied the answer to her question from the website, and on autopilot I just hit paste and quickly sent. ......to only be mortified and shitting bricks to what I sent my mother. It was an explicit text I sent my gf hours ago, and I copied and pasted.

All I did was immediately sent a bs text that idk why copy paste went there... and texted her what it was suppose to be. Doubt she'll buy it, and it's times like this I wish I could access a person's phone before they saw it.

Anyway the question is have yall done this before and how did you deal with it. Just curious.

i literally only text my parents on the default text app. everyone else, whether i sext them or not, i talk to on messenger, insta, and discord

No, but was caught on an adult site unlocking my phone in front of my mom in the passenger side of the car thinking that the tab was closed from earlier.

I have no way of sending my dad a text. Nor do I need to. If we need to talk we just call each other. My dad will usually call me once every few months or so when he knows Im home.

I was tired and ready to fall asleep after answering a few texts. Now I'm wide awake just replaying how mortified of the text I sent my mother.

I know some are open to their parents... I'm not one of them. My folks are pretty conservative in that regard, so I'm not open with my parents about my sex life with my girlfriend. I don't even want to deal with the awkwardness when I visit her on Friday (already had plans to assist my folks with something else.)

GF is asleep and lives an hour away, so cant talk to her. So I'm just up now trying to process this by talking about it somewhere so I can get over this at least for the time being and get some sleep.

I'm able to unsend texts provided they hadn't read it yet. Accidently texted a boss shit talking him. Meant to send it to a friend

It's not that big of a deal. I was mortified when my mom opened my mail and it was a sex toy. She just assumed the package was hers cause she's always ordering crap where as I never do.

Thank God she already knew about my swxuality
