Gop is full of true believers and cowards. Trump would face no consequence for holding more power and refusing any charges

I dont see any world where Trump gets impeached with republicans holding at least one part of the legislative branch

the biggest impact will be social media. he'll be everywhere again. ugh.

His first term and second term are completely different approaches, his first term he was not sure what he could get away with and was kind of testing the waters.

Now with him facing jail, and that it is his second term, he no longer has anything to lose. So yes it's a different ball game now.

Either he goes to prison, or he takes control of the government and implements project 2025, again, he has nothing more to lose by taking the more aggressive approach this time.

Now he knows how devoted his base is, and the republican party is now basically the party of trump. They have been kicking out the moderates and emboldening the likes of MTG and Lauren Boebert. He has a much better idea of what he can do now, and with Project 2025, he has a guide to follow.

Again, don't forget he has nothing more to lose anymore.

He's going all in, all or nothing.

At the very least the supreme court would be lost for the rest of our lives since Dems will never add more seats to the court. That alone should be be enough to scare the anti-Biden bros but they still seem think that the revolution is just around the corner and that whatever revolution happens will favor them.

On other social media, many Trumpers have been stating that Trump has the election in the bag, I have even seen some Trump Supporters go so far as to say he's already won the election and that any other outcome is considered invalid or doesn't count. (Meaning they won't accept the election results unless Trump wins.)

It might not look good right now, but we can't say that he's won when voting hasn't even begun, election is still 4-5 months away, a lot can happen between now and than. At the very least, the Democrats shouldn't give up before the fight has even begun.

I'll be doing my vote against him, but I'd argue it's the lack of confidence directly in regards to Trump losing and various hate crimes being reported.

I just think if anyone really has hope, it would help to see more threads relating to any good news however miniscule.

If he is gifted the presidency despite losing again (because I guarantee you there's no way he gets more votes than Biden) I'll be amazed if his ass actually hits that chair.

I lived in the south for 4.5 years recently. I heard several people (on independent occasions) talk about violently "defending" their land and values from liberals or "the west coast" with a rage and sincerity in their face I've never seen from any liberal or Californian. A few talked about the need for civil war 2. And I'm an introvert who doesn't meet a lot of folk.
