Dargon Age.

I've played through Origins near on ten times.

I've played through II twice and tried a couple times since. I don't dislike the game but it's also... DAII.

I've played through Inquisition in full 3 times. With long deep play throughs a couple times, one of which was a 100% (of the content you can in a single playthrough). I have over 500 or more hours in Inquisition <_< it's not like GOTY material necessarily, but I always found it fun and engaging.

All 3 main ones
i read the books
and saw the terrible movie

only thing I haven't touched Is Heros
And I gave up on the comics on issue 1 when Maric turned up

A shame too because Mass Effect's comics were good

No idea how many times I played Origins but it might be my most played Bioware game. II I beat once and never touched the series again after that.

Played Origins through quite a few times. Loved the atmosphere and story.

Played 2 religious, so many times. I don't even know why but I did, with all classes and different characters.

I dropped inquisition a few hours in >_>

Yeah, Inquisition can be tough to fully break into.

My first playthrough, on 360 mind, was 167 hours long <_<

They're really not bad.

I like what they did with Rhys, it helps you understand Cole and I like more exploration of the Wardens/Maric/Loghain

Rowan is mentioned like twice in all of DA:O And she's vital to the lore

Mass Effect too.

If its Drew Karpyshyn or David Gaider, you can't go wrong

The netflix series was pretty good imo.

All three.

Origins is just plain fantastic.

2 is just okay, but nowhere near as bad as most people make it out to be.

Inquisition is great if you're the type of person that can just focus on the main story. I'm not, so I got so sick and tired of running around talking to people over and over again, doing all the quests on the war table and wasting so much time on the overly convoluted crafting system that I just wanted the game to be over with half way through it. It was the type of game I both loved and hated equally. The extraordinary music helped get me through it, though -- I really enjoyed just sitting there listening to the songs.

I suppose I can check some of them out.

I was worried because the mass effect ones were rather questionable at moments from what I've heard so I never bothered.

Origins 3 times to the end. Played through every origin just to experience that beginning part.

2 I started but never finished, got tired of the repeated dungeons very early on.

Inquisition I beat twice with no desire to do through it again.

I've played all three, and all of them more than once. I preordered Origins and had a lot of fun with it (though I was terrible at it on my first playthrough and ended up using console commands to get through some parts), and I've played it at least 4-5 times over the years. I didn't play II until it was at least a year or two old, though I actually ended up really enjoying it and have probably played it at least 6-7 times (it helps that it's a pretty short game if you want it to be). I got Inquisition on release and felt like it was a bit too bloated, but I finished it and liked it enough to buy the GotY edition when it was on sale for like $15 on consoles and played through all of it again to see the DLC.

That being said, I just played through Origins and II a few months ago, but when I got to Inquisition, I only played for about an hour and put it down. It's definitely my least favorite of the three, mostly because I feel like there's just too much bloat, sort of like an MMO. I'm interested in the gameplay reveal for Veilguard that's coming out soon, since that trailer did not leave me feeling excited.

Before Inquisition there were rumors of a Dragon Age MMO in production.

I firmly believe Inquisition was meant to be an MMO and due to the moderate/middling success of The Old Republic kind of quenched whatever desire EA had to force the decision for there to be a DA MMO

I don't like how the recent trailer made it look like it was a heist film like Ocean's 11. I'll wait to see what the gameplay trailer looks like before I make any further judgements. I hope it's good like Origins and Inquisition, not like DA2.

All 3.

Origins is probably my most played Bioware game. I couldn't even guess how many playthroughs. During the pandemic, I revisited it and did a 100% run. Loved it just as much. Holds up well.

DA2 - Played it through twice. Kind of forced myself to finish the 2nd playthough. I've never felt any desire to go back.

DA:I - I did a single 100% playthrough. I liked it better than 2, but for some reason I didn't feel compelled to run through it again.

I have all 3.

Played Inquisition for like 2 hours learning how to and stuff. There were thinga referred to the previous games and i quit the game and threw them on the wishlist.

The other games went on sale eventually and i picked them up. Havent played the series until like a month ago. Started origins with fix mods. Gonna have 2-3 saves from it to carry over to II then so on...

Wonder if i can finish before veilguard.

Party of 4... if we take the main from each game we know so far:

Warden
a part II player
Inquisitor
a veilguard

Dragon Age V party right there with old and new companions.

I don't think the Warden is ever going to make another substantial physical appearance.

Hawke has three personalities and a single character design to account for, GW has like six different back stories.

I only ever got like 5-10 hours into Origins. I liked the gameplay, but videogame plots that are basically "go to each region in any order to recruit a new member to prepare for the final story chapter against the big bad" are my kryptonite and I was instantly repelled as soon as Origins did that. I wouldn't have finished ME2 for the same reason if it wasn't the middle game in a trilogy.

David Gaider was the lead writer of all 3 games and all 3 games have strong writing.

DA2 isn't "bad" at all, it's just that Dragon Age Origins took 6 years to develop and was designed for PCs. Dragon Age 2 was rushed out after 14 months and designed for Consoles. So there are some serious game design issues holding it back.

They followed gold with silver so people were mad, but silver is still good and valuable.

I really like some of DA2's ideas and I wish the devs were given more time.

All three, though my enthusiasm gradually diminished with each part.
I played Origins, including and all the DLC. I've read The Stolen Throne and The Calling. I've played II, but none of the DLC. I've partially played Inquisition, but quit because it felt too monotonous without enough interesting stuff going on. I'm guessing I got...at least two-thirds in? I dunno tbh.
