I keep changing my plans for this 7th anniversary.

For the longest time my plan was: roll Morgan's banner to try and get her NP2. The consolation on that being either Arjuna Alter or Musashi are pretty great but....

I already have more than a few great Berzerker units. I have NO good assassin units so I'm thinking of rolling the Kama/Koyanskaya banner instead.

Kama has a banner right before that with Kiara and Parvati on it so I'm gonna roll that and if I get Kama then that'll change plans again lol. I'm actually powering up my Parvati coz I already have her Np2 so getting her Np3 while trying for Kama and Kiara would be sweet.

I'm super torn between pulling for Kama, Arc, Lady Avalon, Summer Ibuki, Summer Skadi, and Super Orion in the next few months. I've got 20 multis worth of pulls at the moment. I'm sure this'll go well.

I'm only finna have like 200 SQ by the time that Kama/Kiara banner drops. I've already accepted I'm not getting everything I want, but Summer Skadi is priority. What sucks is Lady Avalon drops first so it's like... what do I bother going for her with?

I'll roll a little on the Anniversary banner - for Xu Fu lol. For Summer I'm also on the Summer Skadi train but I also want to pick up Erice too so I'll be rolling on the Ibuki banner even though Ibuki is the one I want the least. I've basically given up on Proto Merlin unless I am insanely lucky and get all of the above super quick.

I don't have regular Merlin, so I'm assuming Proto Merlin should be a priority for me, but she's the one I'm feeling the least. Guess I'll see how I feel when they come out.

Ulti I am never playing Undertale, give up.

Units acquired for free from events (like regular BB.) They do give you something for full ascending them, though (a rare prism)

Would like some pocket SQ as insurance against the summer banners.

My specific Servant target plan looks something like: Summer (Erice and Skadi) -> Van Gogh Rerun -> Kukulkan+Tlaloc (LB7). I'm a bit over 1000 after building back up after I spent pretty much my whole haul on NP5 Mel at the end of last year.

Anniversaries tend to be the big SQ reward for players - each time they generally find something to reward us on that applies retroactively. This year it's the 3 SQ for all max ascended Servants. But they also add Extra Master Missions to get it up to date (So for instance clearing each part of LB6 will get you 10 SQ, etc. and will be there permanently so you'll get the SQ when you get that far)

Specifically on the Servant Ascension thing: You get a Pure Prism for Ascensions 1, 2, and 3 and for Final Ascension it's 1 Rare Prism for every Welfare (+ Mary Anning the 2* from the recent LWM collab event) and 3 SQ for everyone else.

For you, I might be missing someone but the Welfare Servants since you've started are, I think:

Saber Lily
BB
Altera Santa (Don't think you have her, but you can grab the Christmas Event that gives her out from the Rare Prism Shop for free.In a very loose sense you can think of it as tying up a loose end from Babylonia.)
Mary Anning (2* that was available only during the Learning With Manga event last month)
...Santa Martha but I think you started after Christmas?

Gray (But it had a LB3 Storylock on it, unfortunately)
Taisui Xinglun (Same event that had the Morgan Banner, but unfortunately had a LB2 storylock on it back then)

These rewards for Ascensions are permanent going forward, so don't worry about missing them. It's just, you get the rewards retroactively, so those of playing a while will get them all as a lump sum when the anniversary starts. You'll get the same for everyone you've already ascended but the rewards will stay in place going forward so you'll still get them as you keep building them up.

I just have something against Sigurd fundamentally. I hate him for power creeping Siegfried so heavily and then the way they glaze him is pissing me off.

I take great pleasure in absolutely slaughtering him with Gil, Baobahn Sith, and Napoleon. Hell if I'm feeling like rubbing it in, next time I may even bring EMIYA along.

I actually still have her set up with the Command Codes that lets her solo arguably the biggest fight in the Lostbelt - and that holds true even in the super buffed up limited version of the quest we got back in March where it's a 1.3m/1.4m/1.8m break bar fight LOL.

I used Bob for the Super Memorial quest myself. She did really well.

Yeah, a sufficiently built Triko could probably pull it off - think I remember seeing some people do so. There's some mechanics in play that help allow you to solo if you know what to do/have the right command codes. (Though unfortunately IDK if you have them since most of the actually good ones were given out in events)

Hitting Sigured with Fetch Failnaught, Enuma Eilish, and Arc d'Triomph d'Etoille back to back to back right after popping Napoleon's S2 is the most satisfying bit of gameplay I've had in this game so far.

My headcanon is that I told Gilgamesh that this guy was a not only a fake Siegfried, but he's a fake Sigurd too and that had him extra motivated to call him a zasshu and ruin his day.

If it was, then glad he helped! He's NP2 and both copies were spooks lol. But he has definitely come in clutch for me in a number of spots as well.

Yeah, IIRC, she's one of the best ST damage dealers in the game. She can be outperformed by some Servants who have particular niches but Draco's own niche which is "Servant in one of the 7 Normal Classes" is just so wide that it covers a lot. And even without it she's basically a very good Berserker. (but with defensive advantage instead of disadvantage)

The last 10% of LB2 was phenomenal stuff.

I sure wish the preceding 90% had anywhere near that level of quality and pacing!

In an alternate timeline, what servant do you guys think Kiritsugu summons without avalon as a catalyst?

Maybe a Shinsengumi member, assuming he still summons a Saber? Lots of them are kinda like merciless killers.

Yeah if he summons before Kirei does, he 100% gets an assassin. I'm trying to remember what order everyone went in but it felt like Kiritsugu went last? Or maybe they just did that for the narrative. I doubt the Einzbern's would've wanted him summoning last though.

I'm due for a Fate Zero rewatch anyway.

Would probably be one of the Hassans - IIRC they're the only ones who are supposed to be summoned as Assassins but maybe we've jettisoned that particular bit of lore by now lol.

If he's still getting a Saber, Mac has a good point about the Shinsengumi. Okita or Saito feel like they'd make sense to me.

It's very nice to have the complete upperhand as a Master for once. We shouldn't always be the underdog since we have so much experience at this. I know Akuta is particularly bad as a Master. Her whole deal was summoning her bestie so she could chill with him again. But this shit is serious, and I'm glad that we're showing her rapidly how bad it can go for you if you don't take fighting with the last Master of Chaldea seriously!!

I don't think I've ever seen a narrative idea better than letting Sherlock Holmes free to help in this story. Every scene he's in, asking questions to try and figure out the root of the problems, it's so much fun.

Creating a world with mystery and then saying "What if Sherlock were there to help solve it" was such a great choice by the writers in this game
