Thats right, Im playing Demons Souls! This game is not my favorite Souls game. The mechanics of world tendency and losing half your health when you die and all this stuff are weird and foreign to me. Anyway so far Ive cleared 1-2, 2-3, and 3-3. Playing the PS5 version. I dont think I can get the plat because I dont have PS+ or whatever to do multiplayer, but Ill get all the trophies I can.

Best way to start is pick Royalty and then get the Crescent Falchion in 5-1, then the Kris Blade in 2-1.

(Yes I know people call it 4-1 but the 4th archstone is destroyed so Valley of Defilement is 6-1 not 5-1, damn it.)

I like starting as a Temple Knight. The Halberd is the only weapon you need all game. For shield users, it starts with a 100% block shield.

It's still my favourite of the souls games. I hope you enjoy it.

I wish they'd make another Souls game using that Mega Man esque level progression

Yeah I started as Temple Knight, and yeah Ive mostly stuck to the Halberd lol. Before I ever put a point into strength, I got vitality to 20 and endurance to 30. >.> 2 points into Intelligence and everything else has since gone to Strength. But my Strength is almost 40, so I assume it will start falling off shortly.

Oh yeah so I heard that flamelurker and maneaters are the hardest bosses in the game. I one shot maneaters, and I killed flamelurker on my third attempt lol

Flamelurker, Maneaters, and King Allant are really the only bosses that aren't gimmicks, so yeah they're technically the hardest.

Lets just say Garl Vinland is maidenless ;D

So Im still 5 trophies off from the plat. 3 of them are obtain all rings/spells/miracles. The last two I cant even get because they require a PS+ sub or whatever to play online. The prospect of playing more of this game is killing my drive to platinum hunt. This game isnt bad, its just the worst Souls game Ive played.
