Yep, one of the actors completely jumped ship and left the show in the middle of filming. They had to re-write the whole script on the fly and editeded out a major character from the books. I just gave up after the first season. You can't make Wheel of Time the next "game of thrones" cash cow series. It's more of a niche series and has too many books to adapt. ... Copied to Clipboard!

i've read a good number of the books before i burned out on all the "world building" (aka filler)

I loved the books. Hated how grimdark and torture-porn-y the show tried to be. Clearly trying to fill the Game of Thrones void without recognizing WoT is nothing like game of thrones.
