Never have seen it or a single episode of the show. I was already grown by the time this started and it was just off my radar since it was geared towards the kids programming. Never knew anything about it until years later and other than a couple clips have never seen anything and from the clips I watched it seemed pretty cheesy and not for me.

Don't get me wrong, the majority of the stuff I watched in the 80's was cheesy too, but it was different because I grew up on it and liked it.

No, they made the characters too much like unlikeable delinquents. And they made them look weak once they became the Rangers.

I'm glad it's not getting a sequel, it needs a hard reboot.

Its weird how popular some of those actors became yet a sequel never happened.

Which they needed to do for there to be any kind of character growth. Having them be one dimensional paragons of virtue would have made for a very boring movie considering it was supposed to be an origin story.

Ill also say I appreciated the alien-themed armor instead of crappy spandex. What I will say I especially dislikedprobably irrational sois that the completely botched the tone of the go go power rangers scene by turning Billy into a joke there. My man just died and came back to life and the next choice is to make a rally scene a joke?

I enjoyed it overall. Just wish the Zords and Megazord looked better.

The last Power Rangers project I ever gave a fuck about was the Ivan Ooze one.amd haven't kept up with the series since.

I thought it was pretty solid. I enjoyed watching it, and would have enjoyed a sequel too. I'm not broken up about it not continuing though

You say that. But that is what the original 5 were for the most part. And they didn't make the show boring. Admittedly it was the simplicity and dated bombastic aura that caused it to endure in the pop culture lexicon not the characters but I think the point stands.

They didn't need to do a grown up modern times realistic take power rangers. They needed to a tongue in cheek ode to Power Rangers akin 21 and 22 Jump Street.

I was about to ask if that wasn't the one that they tried to make all super serious and losing some of the camp that made Power Rangers and Super Sentai enjoyable.

What's worst is that they seem to be canceling Power Rangers as we know it to reboot the entire franchise to be more like the movie and might get rid of the Zords to focus more on Teen Drama because they don't want to share with Japan anymore which is so not going to end well.

When Hasbro took over it seemed like they respected the fans...but then it seems someone who cared about the series in the company died so they were replaced by someone who just does not give a damn...

I didn't watch it because it looked like trash, the suits were shit and looked liked knock off Iron Man suits and the zords looked trash too.

They should have just made a movie based on the original show instead of this trash.

Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: Once & Always was better than this trash even with cheesy effects.

Actual teens with attitude.

A lot more drama than I expected, but I liked it overall. The actual parts of them being Rangers were too short, though.
