The way some states word their new abortion laws makes that very clear. This is, in fact, why some other states are suffering from medical technician/doctor brain drain right now, because people usually get into that field because some part of them, at least at some point, wants or wanted to help people. Many of them still DO want to help people. But "I want to help people" is not mutually exclusive to "I will leave this state because they are passing laws that can get me put in jail just because a consenting individual stopped by and wants help because there is a dead thing inside her but the law may or may not say I can't do it (they wrote the law too ambiguous), so um, yeah.
