6am-2:30pm with no overrun(so far), so nice knowing you have a dedicated out time

We just had a fire drill so our normal 30min break has turned into 45min

Enjoying the

When I worked at a warehouse, I loved first shift. 7-3, got home by 3:30, had the next 8 hours to myself. Ideal

It was fine when we had a 4-day work week

Id go back to 4-12s+ in a heartbeat if we went back to having Fri/Sat/Sun off

Hell it was even okay with the current 5-day schedule because Fridays were normally 1/2 day..just was tired of the constant call-ins, micromanagement, other changes I saw coming down the pipeline that wouldve made my department lead job worse for me.so I said fuck it, Im changing

Im moving from 2nd shift as an Engineering Technician to 1st shift as a Principal Logistics Planner. On paper a 17k pay raise. In reality, Ill be missing my time and a half normal OT, double time Sunday OT, 10% shift differential, and 5% lead technician pay.

But its a step up career wise.
