Too late. Opinions have already been made and innocent students already beaten by terrorists.

Edit: And lets make it super clear that the attack on those students was not spontaneous. That shit was planned and funded. The pro-Israeli groups, police, and UCLA security were all involved, probably even more.

It's absolutely appalling how none of these people will suffer any consequences from this.

That kind of violence is why you don't go to a protest of that type without a weapon. I don't care if it's just a fucking rock or a long stick. The cops will not protect you, they want the violence the counter protestors bring, so the only thing that can do is be prepared to fuck someone up if they start it.

Left wing protests really need to start being as organized and prepared for violence as the right wing groups. Every time the left protests, violent right wingers come and trample all over them. What's worse, no one ever helps the left in assaults no matter how much they're victimized. I get the goals are always to be peaceful but, the cost shouldn't be defenselessness when faced with danger. Those students who were beat bloody will probably never get justice.

I think protesters (rightfully) fear that if they defend themselves then the police will probably kill them.
