But you must be stoned by baseball sized rocks for 1 hour straight. They will come in all directions and at the speed of a baseball pitcher speed. You will be completely naked during the ordeal. You will survive long enough to feel the pain for one hour. After the 1 hour your body will turn Completely back to normal. You cannot give up during the stoning. You then will have power to control Earth. With the ability to get stronger and learn new techniques/power using Earth. You will be able to use it like Rand in The Weel of Time.

This is the important thing.

It changes the deal from "you die within 5 minutes for sure" to "you get tortured for an hour but will be completly fine"

One hour of torture for some lifelong super power is at least worth thinking about it, but I think earth power specifically would not be worth it.

Not familiar with The Wheel of Time, but the ability to control and manipulate earth element is highly underrated, especially if training can improve the talent.

Id take it. I know my body would be quite literally crushed during the process, but its only one hour of pain, and were old acquaintances. Besides, this right here

This actually works in your favor. Once you accept, you know you have to suffer through it until its over. If you were able to give up, most people wouldnt last (myself included). But once you know theres nothing you can do, and youre resigned to the fate youve chosen, its easier to mentally endure.
