I have been wearing the same set of sneakers for like 20 years. To be fair they don't get worn all that often. Only like once a week to the grocery store or if I go somewhere/run an errand. I always wear my steel toed boots to work back and forth so I don't need my shoes often.

i bought my shoes on sale for 35 dollars. I get a lot of complements from females about them. Thrifty life is where it is at.

I will never understand people spending stupid amounts of money on sneakers. At least get something fun like big-ass Lego sets.

When nike was exposed in the 90s for it they completely revamped their manufacturing process, their teams and their auditing process.

Not to mention theyve moved at least a 1/3 probably closer to half of their production out of China( out of what was in China, most clothes get made else where)

you can actually look up their 3rd party audited scores and see now that all the big brands are at least above average if Im remembering correctly

is your point they use cheap labor or is your point they use child labor cause those are two very different things.

Hell Nike was just boycotted in China because they refused to us Chinese cotton in the off chance it was farmed using slave labor.

Sizing of the AE1's can go two ways. I think half down makes more sense with the forefoot, but regular size probably makes putting it on less of a chore. I'm waiting for the low cut, but being Adidas I'm also waiting for reviews on the sizing.

I do. I'm always interested in hearing what other people are copping.

Plenty of people don't understand the sneaker hobby, but everyone has something they are interested in and spend money on.

any cases of that are solely due to the contractor lying to nike and the 3rd party auditors, which is pretty unlikely but still possible.

the way my foot works I technically have 3 sizes so I was just going to go with the bigger of the sizes since no one local had a pair anymore

I'm in the minority but I think the 11s are horrid looking. I never understood the hype for them. Even the Space Jams I think are wack

I also got my 4s and shadow discounted so Im not mad at that

Its slightly irresponsible spending. In the sense that its in my budget, but its money I probably should be saving because my savings isnt as high as I typically like it. But Im also celebrating my birthday so im making the expectation.

I mean for me the fun part is the collecting and making the outfits with them, and telling the story/ inspiration behind the shoes.

Sneakers these days are so ugly that I have trouble understanding why people even pay retail, let alone sneakerhead resale, but you do you.

I personally I wear everything, granted somethings I might only wear once a year or so. But somethings are also collected.

now I have friends who dont wear most of their shoes. And maybe do a 5 shoe rotation for the most part.

Ive got crazy luck sometimes and then cant even get panda dunk type shoes other times.

I absolutely love blue and yellow combinations so Im going for his Canary pair, Futura Im hit or miss with. Still gotta find a pair of those recent Philly Kobes for a price Im cool with.

Philly Kobes are dope I kinda want a another pair of Kobes in general

The 13s and 11s are literally my two LEAST favorite Jordans the 13s look like youre wearing a golf ball with that pattern on em.

4s and 5s are my faves.

i weirdly REALLY like the legacy 312s that flopped hard as well. Only the highs tho. The lows are nasty

Flint 13s were like my first love, and watching He Got Game with those 13s they were both just gorgeous to me and always stuck with that.

3s would be my next favorite, 1s, then 4s and 5s. Those 312s are pretty sick, theres some colorways Im a huge fan of. The strap throws me off a little bit but yah I do like them too.

4s are my favorite personally

though at this point I have just as many 1s

I cannot fathom spending that much money on any clothing, even if it was made with literally the best materials known to shoes, it should not ever cost that much.
