I always had a ton of fun on couch co-op with Diablo III and Terraria.

With the PS5 being able to play PS4 games you are going to get a couch co-op list full of PS4 games. With that said river city girls 1 and 2 for sure, borderlands series (all of them support couch co-op), tiny tina's wonderland borderlands spin-off, diablo 3, if you are in the mood to play a game inspired by oldschool castlevania 3 then bloodstained curse of the moon 2 (no seriously, this one supports couch co-op, lol), tales of symphonia, tales of vesperia definitive edition, dynasty warriors 8 xtreme legends complete (most warriors titles really. One piece pirate warriors 3 and 4, samurai warriors, etc.), mercenary kings, zombies ate my neighbors and ghoul control collection, new joe & mac caveman ninja, disney afternoon collection (don't underestimate co-op chip and dale rescue rangers. Fun stuff), it takes two and a way out (definitely recommend both of these), serious sam collection.
