This is the same player that last game I had to repeatedly explain why trying to lynch the confirmed Mason was a BAD idea. Not just new to mafia, but new to thinking critically in general. Their only experience with social deduction games seems to be Among Us, but there's such a gulf between the formats. Among Us for the most part is played for lulz without many groups actually taking themselves seriously when they play so that experience doesn't really seem to translate.

Yeah, I've just been putting together a arguement that i am vanilla.

My flavor text talks about how he is a one time character and they put up a statue of him on campus grounds or something like that.

My point is that i should at least be a emergency lynch just in case you can't find anyone else who has been proven scum.

Ok, let's break this down.

The first line directly suggests that Knightz did this on his own.

The second line talks directly about flavor text

The third line is practically asking to die

If I came to a conclusion based on this alone, it's that Knightz is some kind of town power that fits one of two of the following criteria, and he's unsure of how to claim:

A. It's weak
B. He has no idea how to use it

Knightz comes off as trying to pass as a vanilla when he is not, but I can't say I have ever seen a scum make a post like that in doing so. It reeks of way-over-his-head town that feels completely out of place and doesn't really know what he's doing.

That post alone is not getting my vote on Knightz pretty much ever.

I feel like every time town says, "This guy is scum, but he's not a threat so let's lynch someone else", town inevitably fucks it up and scum ends up living way longer than they should have.

If youre asking if I can unilaterally decide the lynch, no. Knightz lynch seemed inevitable, and while I wouldnt say it seems inevitable now, it still seems likelier than most. The context here was in response to ctes continually building a scum case against Knightz who already had a foot in the grave. It felt like either a waste of time or a cheap means of content.

I've been giving +1 town points throughout this entire game day. Saying -1 town points to you like I did to SBell is my memey way of showing disapproval for what you're saying.

And I fail to see how referring to "the living playerbase as a whole who casts votes in this day phase and is majorly comprised of town-aligned individuals seeking to satisfy a mutual goal of lynching town-opposed players" as simply motherfucking "town" is a slip by any means.

The fact that I have to explain this is saddening. Ruins all the fun I have with being playful instead of so rote serious with all my posts :x
