The idea that you can run an engine from water, invested by some guy somewhere who died mysteriously because of reasons? And people say big oil/the government killed him?

It obviously doesn't work because you put energy into H2O to get H and O, then burn the Hydrogen to turn it back into H2O, making it basically a hydrogen engine that needs a battery to power the whole thing, but has/does anyone still believe that here?

Anyway, I'm getting the same vibes from this guy, but I'm not sure what to make of it yet. Idk if this is some kind of grift or political statement, or just a science experiment, but I sincerely doubt all the people in the comments who think the government will kill this guy for some reason.

Here's another great red flag... over 100% efficiency? What does that even mean? I'm going to really dig into this later but I smell conspiracies

Simply put, pyrolysis facilities are energy intensive. They can also emit carbon monoxide, nitrogen oxides and sulfur dioxide, leading to air and water pollution. These issues have significant financial implications for plant owners who must invest in proper pollution control equipment and regularly monitor emissions.

Yeah, it would seem in the plastic industry's best interest to push for this sort of thing, so the conspiracy doesn't even make sense.

Whether or not its true, the sad thing is that it absolutely 100% would not surprise me if it was.

I believe it technically works, but has pitiful efficiency

It means that the guy's full of figurative crap, because he advertises his invention as one that defies the universe's laws of energy conservation.

Honestly I like the video and I like the guy, I just don't think he's going to move any mountains with this stuff. It's very cool as a DIY documentary.

He seems to have an autistic obsession with this that sort of drives itself, which I respect.

Well, I give him far more respect than I do the water engine crowd, and his core audience seems less conspiratorial than his YT shorts commenters. They're just being nice and supportive.

I think what he's trying to say is that he's recovered more energy from the plastic via fuel than what he put into the machine to create it. So I guess if he had unlimited junk plastic, he would just have unlimited fuel now. That's cool, I guess.
