once i fell asleep in front of the heater and had a dream some evil military type force stormed in and put a boot to my shoulder with some type of chemical or knife or something, then when i woke up the heater had burned me there

The air compressor on the window air-conditioner sometimes thuds. I was asleep near it and heard it in my sleep. In my dream I figured I was asleep while someone was shoving the AC out of my window and breaking into my house so I willed myself awake to confront the perp, only to find all normal. I realized it was the air compressor and not a burglar.
