Yes, that's been true for me ever since adolescence. Male peers started to become very difficult for me to relate to around that point.

Counting just close friends, 3 men and 2 women. With guy friends we'll usually be doing something like gaming or hiking together. With girl friends it's usually more just sitting somewhere talking for a couple of hours.

One of them is like a sister to me, definitely not attracted to each other. The other friend I've only known for a month or so, maybe something will develop there who knows.

yeah i guess. When like one of the women is like much older it seems to help in this dept. though.......

I see what you mean... Also with older friends (generally speaking) with their great life experience you can probably have deeper conversations.

They overall became the macho/pervy sort of stereotype, very obsessed with sports, girls, sex, etc. I couldn't relate to this sort of thing, as someone who's asexual and generally very introverted.

There's always convenient exceptions for people who don't want to admit that they just don't know how to be friends with the opposite sex.

I don't have a lot of friends period but they do tend to skew more female then males. Like, not counting my nephews I only really count two guys as close friends.
