Meh

Get it on sale. It's ok, but not great.

It's okay. The enemies are extremely repetitive and the combat is as basic as you could get. Somehow it is even more basic than Xenoverse 2 which doesn't help when you have a game that spans 4 major arcs and takes a long time to complete. Couple that with the load times of constantly going to different areas for quests and it becomes a real hassle.

Still I enjoyed my overall time with it. It hits almost all of the main story beats pretty well and has a bunch of fun callbacks to the original Dragonball as well.

Its good fun. As someone who never saw the anime it gives a decent overview of the main story beats which is what I wanted to get out of it.

If you like DBZ and can get it on sale its a fun experience imo

It's eh. Not bad but not great. The story follows canon so tightly that its kinda boring.

Its a fun little Superman simulator. Flying around and beating the shit out of things

I agree it is alright. The RPG elements almost feel pointless because the game gives you boatloads of experience after every major fight so youre never really under leveled.

I also was kind of hoping for more progression as far as movement and abilities go. Goku wasnt really that good of a flier at the start of Z, so its weird that when you start the game he is able to move and fly just as well as he does at the end of the game.

I also agree some of the fights can get repetitive.

It's a shovelware, but all the of the budget went into the graphics. Be prepared to see Krillin die by Frieza for the bajillionth time.

It's a fun rental but it gets old very quick, which is a shame because only playing it a short amount of time won't let you see the cool power-ups later on. But it just didn't hold my attention thanks to the repetitive, simple battle system and awkward cutscenes.

Flying is by far the best thing about it, but that gets interrupted by random RPG battles and there's a limited amount to explore. As someone who wishes there were less open-world sandbox games, this is one that could have benefitted from a vast open environment.

I really liked the boss fights it puts you in where you are under leveled, which really feels like some of the major parts of the show. That first major show down with Vegeta was awesome cause I was really fighting for my life and using all I could to take him out. None of the other fights sans for maybe one or two hit that high.
