So I bought a Pro from a pawn shop for 180. Plan to get the PS5 near the end of August then the kids can have this one.

My PS4 sorta just stopped working right after I played it for some hours last week. Apparently it was still "working" (I was playing an online game and my friend said it was still registering everything from my controller) but stopped displaying

then when I tried to reset it, it didn't work and turn on right. It was til the next day it started working right again

I think its the beginning of the end for it

but yea, I can relate

I've started using my PS4 less and less because I mostly game on a Series S these days, and I've had that PS4 since 2014, it's gotten me through some times lol.

I don't know why anyone owns a non-Nintendo console anymore. Nintendo games will always only be on Nintendo systems, and every other game will be playable on a PC that isn't too old. And "too old" is nearly five years before that console launched in most cases.

I bought a used base PS4 off ebay in 2016, and although it's been replaced by my PS5, I booted it up to transfer some save data the other day and it's still kicking. It did have an issue of randomly ejecting discs for no reason for awhile, but I managed to fix that

Physical games, for one.

My PC is 12 years old and can't play current games but I'd rather just buy a console than build a new one for thousands of dollars (not that I can even do THAT but I digress)
