In our community, its become evident that some members are grappling with food insecurity a challenge that no one should have to face alone. The concept of a communal support system, such as a confidential food pantry, can really help lot of CE-People.

What if we had a CE food pantry where members can discreetly contribute and receive aid. Imagine a system where contributions are made through credits like maybe from DoorDash. Members in need could access the pantry virtually and redeem these credits, all while maintaining their privacy.

Like would this be something possible ? Because I am sure some people would like to give to others , but don't want their real information out there, and others would like to ask for help but would not want everyone to no

I think it's an awesome idea but I'm not sure it's practical given how spaced out we all are. Like, if we had enough of us in the same area then I think it's possible

You'd probably have people dipping in there who don't need it.

Though I like the idea the home cook and grocery shopper in me winces at the thought of something like door dash or Uber eats. I see people post receipts of those services all the time where a simple meal runs them like $50 and Id rather they had access to a grocery store where some smart planning and cooking can make that last a week rather than one meal.

But I understand thats a popular thing to do these days is just order food. Dont mind me Im just being an old man.

Yeah verifying that people actually need it seems more trouble than its worth. Youd have to go on anecdotal reports that the person is in need unless they want to expose their entire life on here

Maybe let each user do it once ever six months of if someone is cheesing it will not hurt everyone else that much .
