It's always kind of entertaining the way people will out themselves as not understanding what politics is by insisting that they are somehow above political discussion.

Protip: Discouraging/disparaging political discussion is itself a political act.

This is indeed huge. It's going to have a massive uphill battle against the very large amount of money people currently make by exploiting non-compete clauses, and I'm sure there will end up being some concessions (like if you leave a restaurant and start your own with all the same recipes, that's obviously no bueno), but this is a major shake-up.
