The XBox 360 was such a popular console.

It was more expensive than the competition, weaker than the competition, didn't have worthwhile exclusives, 99% of its library was available on PC and its main gimmick was convoluted and outdated the moment it released.

The only real reason to own one is Rare Replay.

The One X is good.

All the others are junk.

Not the worst console I've ever owned, but the most disappointing.

I loved the 360. It might be my all time favorite console. The One was a disappointment in all ways for me. It just wasn't as good as the Playstation, it had fewer games, and a bunch of gimmicks. I didn't like most of the choices they made with the UI. My kinnect stopped working in like 2 years -- I did like the "record that" feature but even then, MS messed up the whole activity feed. It was great before they started shoving content creators in it. I just want to see my friend's stuff.

XBOX One was a better console than the PS4, XBOX Series X is a better console than the PS5, and the PS3 was a better console than the 360. In all these instances the worse console did better (except the PS3 did pass the 360 late). I guess the key is to make an inferior console.

Yeah it has a bad rep. XBox One never truly recovered from Don Mattrick. Is it actually a great console then? Well...

I agree with that except the weaker part. XBox really lacked exclusives, big time. Halo, Gears of War, Forza, and umm...I don't remember anything else. Not truly exclusives though because they also came out for PC.

Wrong, wrong, and it could have gone either way depending on game preference versus technical performance (e.g., third parties ran better on 360, but if you like Japanese games it barely had any so PS3 won by default). The key has always been games.

Im also not counting OG PS3s being able to play all PS1 and PS2 games, because if I did, PS3 slaughters X360 in terms of library.

They all suck technically compared to PC, and ever since the PS4 / XB1 generation, 99% of games are on there, so since then, the library (specifically the exclusive library) is all thats really mattered.

PS4 dominated XB1 due to XB1 having the worst PR and launch in industry history coupled with having a better library of exclusives.

PS5 dominated XBX because it has a better exclusive library and people didnt want to switch brands after having a PS4 anyway.

It will be the same for PS6. Not much Microsoft can do at this point, as momentum is kicking their asses.
