Noticed that the rubber tip from my ear bud was missing. A few days later, I was cleaning my ears and it felt like something was blocking my hearing.
I originally didnt think it was the rubber tip (I thought it fell on the floor somewhere) But now I can barely hear out of my left ear. It doesnt hurt at all, just feels like I got water stuck in my ear, except its been like this for 3+ days im thinking of calling the minute clinic 5 mins from my house, but I dunno if I should just go to the ER instead. I have a feeling (a hope) that the clinic down the street could probably just pull it out easily --- Big yellow joint big yellow joint I'll meet you down at the big yellow joint ... It's probably just wax or something (especially if you were cleaning with a q-tip), but either way the clinic's the way to go. They should be able to pull out anything that doesn't require sedation or anaesthetic to get, and if it's wax, they can syringe you. It's not really an emergency at all.

I've had build up of wax in my ear before and it felt like you describe. It felt good having them cleaned out after weeks of not hearing well. Anyway get it looked at....

I have a ton of earwax, no idea why. Same as TC (sans earbud), one time as a kid, I just woke up one morning and couldn't hear out of one of my ears. Mom took me to the doctor and she pulled out a massive clog.
Nowadays maybe once a month or so, I just use some earwax dissolvent to keep them from getting too clogged. --- Cupcake ... Copied to Clipboard!
