I fix everything I can myself. I love learning how to do stuff, and the feeling of accomplishment after I've made something work again is fantastic. I'll pay someone else to do it if it's too intimidating or requires specialty tools, etc.

I've changed washers in facets, replaced parts on the dishwasher, patched drywall, and put in some insulation. Little things like that. Problems with the water heater or sewage I'm calling a plumber. Plumbing depends. If it's repairing piping yes, blockages yes
Electricity. Simple stuff like outlets, fans lights etc. Anything like replacing a breaker box, no. Carpentry yes. Built whole buildings, barns, fences. This also includes roofing for all those. Shingles and tin Roof. Tin roof for the barn was a interesting story. I had a pecan tree fall through it. I had to replace all the rafters and replace the tin. I got it all done in 2 days. I got the tin done except one last piece. The sky was clear when I restarted after lunch. A storm brewed up. I was 15 to 20 feet off the ground on top with not a quick way down. So the wind picks up and I lay flat across the tin. Not the best Idea in the world. I could have gone flying. Might be the closest to death I ever came --- I was born when she kissed me. I died when she left me. I lived a few weeks while she loved me- ... Copied to Clipboard!
