Playing a game in a medieval setting and then suddenly fucking martians show up.

Inject this shit in my veins. Even in a medieval fantasy setting with monsters, aliens randomly being introduced is spooky as shit.

Any other examples come to mind?

And yes, theyre not outright called aliens, but the first is clearly a gray and the second comes from a UFO during an abduction attempt.

Irregardless, for all intensive purposes, I could care less.

You'll be able to do this in Pathfinder 2e soon because they're making Starfinder 2e fully rules compatible.

They're not worried about balancing Starfinder against Pathfinder because they want it to still exist as its own game, but compatability-wise there's not going to be anything at all stopping you from dropping a few Starfinder aliens into a Pathfinder campaign.

We the audience would know them to be aliens but the medieval society would probably mistake them for gods or demons

Exclusively medieval or just old-timey in general?

Medieval aliens for me is the primo shit, but aliens showing up in the Wild West is neat, too (though how did they miss so hard with Cowboys and Aliens?). The less scientific the setting, the better, imho.

I was gonna suggest Prey but that's set later in the future than I thought (1719).
