like, a few things - like my old Gameboy Color, I still have, and that's neat, but those phones I'm never going to use again, they're 100% trash now.

I can tell you that family still use it. To store other things. Like when they used to use this for sewing kits:

I have my old phone boxes. Dont know why lol. I typically trade in my phones whenever I get a new one, but I have a few of my old iPhones too. One wont even take a charge so Im paranoid to just throw it away in case theres personal data on there and someone is able to get it to charge or whatever.

I dont have any old phone boxes. I always throw them out straight away. I do still have the box my PS5 came in though. Thats just laziness on my part.

I understand this in theory and I probably used to do this, but I haven't bought a new phone, let-alone an Apple product - in like 10 years.

Refurbed products tend to come in crappy little padded envelopes or whatever. I prefer it this way.

I keep my phone on top of the box on top of a night stand so I don't smack the screen into the wood.

In case I need to return it

I save boxes to all my electronics in case I resell. Things with a box usually go for more money.

That is so me, yet I've been using a tissue box. I should do that instead.

I keep "good boxes". Apple boxes qualify as good. But I don't keep them because they are apple.
If something has a lot of accessories, I'll keep the box and leave the accessories in it.

imo it's a great way to store the console. Keeps them from collecting too much dust by being in an enclosed box, and I can bust them out to play any time. Even if it's just once every couple of years.
