roughly since 03-04, was most active from 05 until i got axed in 2009 and left for a bit, mostly lurked since 2013 i guess.

edit : my axe was older than remembered since i created this account after, so 2009 and not 2011 lmao

Ive been on GameFAQs in at least some capacity since 2002 or 2003. CE I remember starting to browse/post on in late high school or early college years (so around 2008) and Ive been here since.

Ive always considered GameFAQs (and to a lesser extent CE specifically) to be my Internet home.

Feels like forever lol, I think I started posting here consistently around 2010 though, I had always seen it listed on the boards list but assumed it was all news stories and no fun, how wrong I was!

I only started coming to CE in like 2020 because all the other boards were dead. I have been on Gamefaqs since like 2000 though. Always avoided CE because it moved too fast.

About a year. I thought it was pure toxic at first but I guess I learned to not be bothered by some of the usual suspects.

That was back in 2011, so been here basically daily ever since November of 2011.

Discovered GameFAQs in 2002. Made my first account in 2003. Discovered CE in 2004. Became a regular in 2005.

The first argument I ever got in on CE was with someone who legitimately argued that gay people should be experimented on against their will so that future gay people might be "cured." Then a mod flat-out told me they couldn't delete their posts because it was a legitimate political opinion, and I should just add the user to ignore if I didn't like what they were saying. This would have been around 2001 or 2002, and even for that era I was pretty shocked.

I don't remember. Later than 2002. 04-06 if I had to guess.

Im honestly not emotionally attached like others. I started coming here last year. Ive been on gamefaqs for 20 years and spent most of it on the main system boards talking about games. Also even 20 years ago when I started I was already in my late 20s. So I dont have memories of this place when I was a kid in school. The internet as we know it didnt exist when I was a kid so I dont have those strong attachments to my youth with it.

I only shifted over here last year because the site is dying and even the main system boards move so slow these days I wanted something with more activity.

Obviously that activity will be dying off as people get suspended because they cant help themselves.

I have already unironically felt this place was only a couple years from shutting down the boards completely and being just an archive for guides/walkthroughs. Its inevitable. It happened to me on IMDb.com with those message boards. I expect it here too.

I've been posting on this site for over 20 years, but I want to say that I only starting posting here about 3 or so years into my time here, so about 17ish years. Maybe a little more, maybe a little less.

I'll probably still dick around here even if it slows down to LUE levels, tbqh.

Honestly I never posted here much, but I lurked on and off. I don't really know when, probably shortly after making this account. I remember seeing some weird (horny) choose your own adventure type topics way back then.

I came back today to look at the drama after being made aware of it. Havent been on here as a regular since maybe 2018 but I still use the guides. I think I started going to CE in like 2010? I was an RIer before then.

I guess they want to finish the site off.

Probably close to two decades, which is crazy.

Been on this site since 2001, first started posting in '03. Found my way to CE in 2009 the latest. Those were the golden years. The arguments and general discourse were fun, we had CYOAs from assaultmuffin, I attended a CEmeetup in NYC a couple times (OP in real life versus on here is night and day when I met him lol). It was great.

Sigh, such is the past.

It took me a long time to discover CE so probably only about 10 years. I didn't post much originally though.

My account is 20 years old but I lurked for a bit before registering.

I've been through this on a couple of other boards in the past. We'll try to fight against it and people will try to carry on the legacy elsewhere but ultimately it will fail. This is the end.

Then I randomly found CE and yeah....

Just a year or two. Didnt even know this place was a thing for the longest time despite making an account in 2003. Was mostly on the system boards (unusable chud shitholes now) and a regional board.

I have been coming here since I joined in July 2022.
