Current Events > What the fuck, I got a Bronze Dragon slayer task in Runescape when I'm lvl 75

The dragons are like lvl 130+ to put that in comparison, and I gotta defeat 30 of them to complete the task. I only managed to beat 3 of them before I used up all my food and prayer and had to teleport out >_> This task is gonna suck

All 5 of my combat stats are around 60

Just shoot arrows

Think i maged them at that point. Ibans E or the newer trident should be alright for them.

I did some research and they have weak magic defense, but I don't have a lot of chaos/death runes and I'm too poor to buy some now lol. Plus I'm afraid I'm gonna get absolutely shredded by their melee attack with just robes on >_> All I got are Mystic robes

I don't have a good crossbow, which I need to use since I gotta have an anti-dragon shield up. Plus his ranged defense is crazy high so it's probably a bad approach

Hell no! That's crazy

have antifire potions on you so when you drink one dose while wearing the antifire shield you are 100% immune to dragonfire attacks for like 5 min 30 seconds

wear all your best prayer enhancing armor or some stuff that boosts prayer so when you activate protect from melee it'll last longer, then have prayer potions on you

then for melee ideally use your best and fastest stab weapon like a dragon sword but a dragon scimitar would be fine

so do all the above and you don't have to waste any food since you will take zero damage, just drink a dose of prayer potion when your prayer is getting low and keep an eye on the antifire timer

I know you said you're low on cash but I can give you some cash for supplies out plus I can accompany you and hold stuff in case ya need it, my bank is worth over 220 million and i'm bored as hell which is why i'm even willing to help out like this haha

I just went on their website and followed the directions to download OSRS. I do it through a launcher but I dont think that's necessary

They put it on Steam a while ago too. That was the closest I got to going back.
I like to read the reviews every now and again.

I don't even know how to play OSRS without the use of the Jagex launcher lol, I got back into in October 2023 so the Jagex launcher was how I started playing again

perhaps it's possible to play without it and if you're just trying it out I think it's fine, but if you end up liking it then making a Jagex account is the way to go from there, much more secure

also i'm legitimately shocked at how much Runelite enhances+does so much for you, Quest Helper is so niceeeee ahhh lol

Yeah RuneLite is legit amazing. So many QoL things that I didnt know I needed. GE and HA values when examining, timing on how long for your HP, Run energy, Prayer, etc last or to replenish, how much a potion buffs you, and so much more. It's amazing

if you want gp for food I can hook you up cus i accidentally bought bonds instead of membership and then sold the bonds without realizing they can be used to buy membership lol..

Magic tears right through them if you don't mind spending the extra gold

bronze dragons are trash and always a skip/block task.
