the main fallout youtube channels have done nothing but praise it from what Ive seen. But lets be real these people pay attention to the show and dont rely on everyone else to form an opinion.

fallout new vegas is one of my favorite games period, Fallout 2 is my favorite fallout title. you dont see me whining. Why? Because I paid attention to the show and know the retcons people are complaining about arent retcons and the actual retcons are going mainly unnoticed.

I liked the show. Figures butthurt Youtubers would be ragging on stuff that isn't even a thing.

Most youtubers seem to like it. Then again I don't watch anti-woke you tubers so maybe those are the people who hate it? But most fallout fans seems to like it even with some many nitpicks.

I actively work to keep my algorithm free from anti-woke garbage so I won't even search to see if those people hate Fallout the series.

Pretty much my sentiments as well. The nuking of Shady Sands in the year 2277 pretty heavily contradicts New Vegas' timeline, which is admittedly a thorn in my side. But my ultimate reaction to this was going to be determined by how the show handled the fall of the NCR, and in the end they handled it about as well and respectfully as could have been expected. I was afraid Shady Sands was going to be an afterthought, but not only did it become heavily integral to the plot, the reasoning / perpetrator behind the nuking actually fit well in both the show's narrative and the overall franchise lore, instead of feeling like the random act of some jackass / throwaway faction.

I am genuinely curious to see how the timeline incongruity is dealt with both in and out of universe going forward.

He doesn't get mislabeled. He has pretty much made that his whole entire image lately. Now he's not far right like most of them but he is buying into and pushing the whole "woke left are ruining video games" conspiracy.

He isn't anti-woke though he is anti shitty game companies isolating the playerbase.

Fyi he advocates for things like UBI and universal healthcare. He is pro lgbtq and not racist.

But his thing has always been to criticize this way just it was usually blizzard

im not sure shady sands was nuked in 2277. That very sketchy time line looks like it shows a falling of shady sands, and then the nuke. The nuke could actually happen after new vegas takes place.

Im not sure we should trust the vault 4 inhabitants time line just yet.
