The simple fact of the matter is that Rowling doesn't nearly have as many fans as she did twenty or even ten years ago, and being Queen TERF is making her *lose* fans readily. The only people she's gained in the last few years are right-wingers eager to leverage her celebrity status to push their narrative.

My view of the "SJW" is a non existent boogieman that people create to have an enemy they can fight and win. Such a person isn't even behind key board, as they simply are not real.

To be fair, love-bombing is absolutely a powerful step in the radicalization process.

Every time these big celebs step in shit, they get the criticism on one hand - but then they also have waves of their fans who really don't care about the issue rushing to defend them and tell them they did nothing wrong, as well as ideological hatemongers using the opportunity to reinforce their beliefs and pushing them further.

I think it's especially powerful for these old rich famous people because they can always count on stan culture to protect the reality that want to believe in, that they were the wronged victim for being criticized by those evil nebulous SJWs!
