What parts do you have going in? Like, having your monitor(s) already can pretty radically change the recommendations.

I assume primarily for gaming?

You're gonna want a Ryzen X3D CPU (but not the 7900X3D or 7950X3D, from what I hear those have issues in gaming - 7800X3D is the best choice). NVidia are still the best in terms of results for GPUs, but AMD offer majorly better value for money while still being plenty, so it's really up to you which way you wanna go on that.

Don't get less than 32GB RAM without leaving open the option to upgrade later. 16GB is still okay for now but we're close to the point where it won't be. Of course just replacing all the RAM later is an option, but being able to just add more is better.

what happened to the PC part picker list you posted awhile back? iirc that seemed like a good build, with some of the suggestions people were giving you about it.

It don't matter. None of this matters.

Not so sure about the Intel side, but just yuck at that recommendation for AMD. It's a good choice for those with an existing AM4 motherboard who need a CPU upgrade (but don't want to replace mobo and RAM too); but anyone getting new hardware should be going AM5. AM4 is at the end of its lifecycle; whatever CPU you get on that now, you're basically stuck with until you're ready to replace all three of CPU, mobo and RAM.

Depending on the current cooler / socket / cpu you're using, that may not be possible or advisable.

Many of the higher end new CPUs run much hotter than in the past, and older coolers for older socket types may not be compatible.

I would go w/ the RMX series 850 watt PSU, personally - I've had bad experiences w/ their lower tier PSUs, but never w/ their RMX series.

Other than that, everything looks fine.
