Did it hurt? I have so many skin tags. They started popping up several years ago. I had 1 really fat annoying one on my back but I got that removed by a doctor

What doesnt kill you

Ouch. I get them pretty bad in my armpits, which is a terrible place to try to deal with them myself. I saw an ad recently for a topical to deal with them, but i keep forgetting to look for it.

I thought the only way to get rid of those was with freezing.

Does it heal back to normal skin scar or what

I cut one off my back with a steak knife as a teen and it bled a lot.

Cutting a skin tag off causes a pretty decent risk of infection, and there's a decent chance it'll just grow back. Don't do it.

Got this a while ago. Haven't gotten around to using it so I don't know how it is.

All of my skin tags are in hard to reach areas so that I can't take care of them myself. I've been considering going to the doctor's to have them removed but am concerned that insurance won't cover their removal. They're around my neck, in my arm pits, a couple near my crotch and even one on my right nut.

I've heard of so many remedies but I'm too afraid to try any on the 1 I have.

The big debate is infection risk. There seems a big divide on it.

Heard you can tie them off and they will die and fall off. Having actual rotting flesh attached to your body does sound....worrisome

Can any doctor cut them or must it be a demo??

Tie them off tight with dental floss. Theyll fall of in a couple of days.

When I was a child, my father had a skin tag on his tongue. He tied dental floss around it (somehow) and left it on there for a few days. One morning he woke up and the skin tag and dental floss were gone. He swallowed them in his sleep.

A few years ago, I had one on my neck that I used a store-bought skin tag removal patch on, and it kind of turned into a dark mush that just sort of came off without any pain, but the patches never worked again on any of my others.

I've cut some off with nail clippers, but you're going to want to use ice cubes on them first to numb the pain.

I came back from the beach once and had one of those and I hacked it off with toenail clippers
